If you have found this site you may be in some degree of pain regarding your relationship with food. I do not assess or diagnose, I believe we all fall somewhere on a continuum of eating and if you cannot find peace, my approach may be of help to you.
I believe so many people have been a victim of our culture’s focus on being thin, that they have completely lost touch with their ability to trust their body to let them know what they need in terms of feeding themselves; nourishing themselves. In addition to the unrealistic portrayals of “beauty,” in our culture, some people received childhood messages about themselves leaving them particularly vulnerable to developing a confused relationship with food. When we are unable to value ourselves as a whole, beautiful, lovable, amazing person, trust in ourselves becomes compromised.
My approach is to help you develop a trusting relationship with food and self through learning intuitive eating and compassionate dialogue.
Embarking on this approach to your relationship with food involves stepping into truth with your body as you come into partnership with the one consistent tool you’ll ever need, your own amazing body.
